 CHARLES
L. EARNEY, CPA
Charles L. Earney has been a
practicing CPA for nearly 35 years and currently has a tax
and audit practice in
Wilmington,
North Carolina. Chuck has been a full-time assistant professor in
accounting at UNC-Wilmington for the last 26 years. In
2002 he received the Chancellor’s award for teaching
excellence.
During the ten prior years
(1972-1982), he was an audit manager in
Milwaukee
and then
Charlotte,
North Carolina, with an international CPA firm. He graduated from the
University
of
Wisconsin,
Madison, in 1970 with MBA and BBA in accounting and then taught
at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
 He
has had relevant business and not-for-profit experience
during his entire career. This experience means he will
provide responsive, effective services and will be
available as needed for other consulting. He has been
President and Treasurer of Plantation Village Retirement
Community and Treasurer of Lower Cape Fear Hospice and
Hospice at
Charlotte,
North Carolina.
